Makeup tips for thicker-longer looking lashes & Mascara

I have decided to do posts on some of the makeup tips i have learnt and use on a regular basis, most people will know or have heard these before but its always good to share tips as there is proberly something to learn from someone else, enjoy x

How to get longer-thicker looking lashes:

A good tip to get longer looking lashes is to curl your lashes with eyelash curlers then apply a thin coat of eyelash primer / clear mascara or even just a thin coat of your own mascara (preferably a lengthening one)
Then apply another coat of your mascara this time hold the wand horizontal to your eye and wiggle it at the base of your lashes to ensure the mascara coats each lash and builds volume pulling the mascara to the end of your lashes.

A good tip to make lashes look thicker is to apply an eyeliner (preferably a soft kohl pencil) as close to the top lash line as you can and also to tight line the eye (this is the inner area of your eyelid, opposite from your water line.
A good tip i find in applying this is to use a soft waterproof eyeliner place your chin in towards your body and looking up into a mirror, place the eyeliner on the inside of your top lid and looking in the oposite direction run the liner over the inside lid, this is 'tightlining' this will add a shaddow making the eyelashes seem thicker instantly.

Quick tip on mascara:

A quick tip to stop your masara having clumps is to always blot the wand with a tissue before applying, Avoid wiping the wand on the rim of the tube this may create clumps that may end up transfering onto your lashes.
